Literacy Solutions of Nevada is dedicated to empowering the dyslexic community by raising awareness of dyslexia, advocating for understanding and support, and providing scholarships to dyslexic students to help them achieve academic success.

Expanding our impact to Rural Nevada

We are excited to announce the expansion of our outreach to more rural areas of the state, beginning with Lovelock, Nevada—situated in the heart of our beautiful state. To support this effort, we’re launching the Book Bundles for Lovelock Campaign, which is dedicated to providing families with essential resources to empower dyslexic students.

Shaping Our Mission Through expert training

In June 2016, we had the privilege of receiving training from Susan Barton, a leading expert in dyslexia. This invaluable experience shaped the foundation of our knowledge and beliefs about dyslexia, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to attend her final in person Summer Screening Seminar.

PROMOTING EARLY LITERACY WITH BOOK BUNDLES

We delivered Approximately 150 bags to Dr. Smokey and the Carson Medical Group Pediatrics in Minden!!!

WHAT ARE BOOK BUNDLES?

Our Book Bundles are specially curated bags designed to support early literacy from birth. Each bundle includes five brand-new books for families with newborns, encouraging parents to read to their little ones from the very beginning.

Alongside the books, we provide two informative flyers:
📖 One highlights the early signs of dyslexia to promote awareness.
📖 The other explains the importance of reading to babies for early language development and future literacy success.

Each bundle also includes a QR code linking to a short, engaging video that shares the benefits of early literacy and how reading to children from day one can make a lasting impact.

Together, these resources empower parents to give their children the gift of reading from the very start!
